Окреслено особливості його трансформації на основі аналізу змін якісних та кількісних характеристик його струк-
турних елементів в умовах поглиблення євроінтеграційних процесів. Окреслено пріоритети Регіональної політики ЄС
у сфері регулювання розвитку внутрішніх та зовнішніх прикордонних регіонів та структуровано основні інструменти
її реалізації. Здійснено моніторинг розвитку прикордонних регіонів за основними соціально-економічними показниками
їх розвитку. Підготовлено відповідні пропозиції органам державної влади та органам місцевого самоврядування.
